Okay here is my first tutorial. You can print them off to use as a reference.

Applique Card Tutorial
Skills Required: None

Just a couple of words to the wise before starting:
-Make sure to gather/purchase/borrow all supplies before getting started. There is nothing more frustrating than being almost done and running out of thread or glue.
-Read directions all the way through before starting, trust me.

These are just basic word cards but while I was putting this together I realized you could do all sorts of things with this: christmas trees and sayings, felt hearts for Valentine's, etc etc. Go crazy, get creative!

Things I want to do before I’m thirty:

1. See a rodeo (Thanks Steve, Accomplished Summer of 2006 in Spanish Fork, UT)
2. Write a book/novel/collection of short stories
3. Go to Europe
4. Take a cruise to Mexico
5.Get a master’s degree
6. Find the perfect little black dress
7. Learn to play an instrument
8. French
9. Go to the EMP in Seattle (Accomplished August 2006 with Steve)
10. Visit the Chicago Museum of Art
11. Camp in the Grand Canyon
12. Oil Painting (Accomplished Sept-Dec 2005 in SLC, night classes with Sydney)
13. Perfect making a layer cake
14. Be a member of the audience for a tv show, Ellen, Oprah, Saturday Night Live
15. Go to a Yankees game in Yankee's Stadium (Too bad, I can't do this one anymore)
16. Buy a pearl necklace, a real one
17. Volunteer in an elementary school
18. Start a tradition
19. Write my personal history
20. Spend a whole day in Seattle (Accomplished August 2006 with Steve, we did EMP, the Seattle Center and Pike's Place not to mention the highway we couldn't get off of and all the fun trying to find a public bathroom)
21. Go on a trip just to take pictures, pure photography
22. Go to a symphony performance
23. Go to San Francisco (Accomplished August 11, 2007)
24. Wear a different outfit everyday for a month (Accomplished June 2007, thank you closet, I've never seen you in such a glowing light before)
25. Take my mom to Disneyland, just the two of us
26. Crash a party
27. Dye my hair some funky color
28. Reupholster something (Accomplished July 2006, red microfiber ottoman and chair)
29. Can stew
30. Go skinny dipping
31. Go to a jazz club
32. Find a favorite poet
33. Go skiing
34. Play in the sprinklers with someone I like (Accomplished Summer 2006 with Steve on Center Street, that was really fun except I kept losing my flip flops in the wet grass)
35. Buy a bike and ride it (Accomplished Spring 2008, thanks tax return and GIANT bikes)
36. Learn to salsa dance, go to a club and do it
37. Finish a Sunday new york times crossword puzzle, I can get help but hopefully minimal
38. Learn some type of origami (Accomplished July 2008 at Girl's Camp)
39. Anonymously pay for someone’s bill at a restaurant
40. Make a quilt (Accomplished July 2009)
41. Do a walkathon
42. Donate to a cause (Accomplished Sept 2009)
43. Go through the temple (Accomplished Feb 21, 2007 in Seattle)
44. Drive across the united states
45. Go to Prince Edward Island
46. Mow a lawn
47. Read a book on WWII (Accomplished August 2008, Suite Francaise)
48. Make risotto (Accomplished July 11, 2007, yummy)
49. Make a habit of reading the newspaper
50. Read something by John Grisham (Accomplished March 2006, the Firm, thirlling, I'd recommend it to anyone)
51. Catalog those boxes of memories I have
52. Donate blood (Accomplished February 18, 2009)
53. Ride a scooter

55. Watch Godfather I & II (Accomplished March 2006 thanks Rick and his editting DVD player)
56. Read Harry Potter 7 (Accomplished July 22 at 1:40 pm)
57. Make homemade ice cream (Accomplished thanks to the Schwartz's and our new ice cream maker, mint chocolate chip, yummy. March 2007)
58. Watch season 10 of friends (Accomplished the day after it came out on DVD, watched all in one day!)
59. Eat at a Bobby Flay restuarant
60. Know all the presidents in order
61. See Wicked (Accomplished Sept 2011)
62. Eat cupcakes at the Magnolia Bakery (Accomplished Sept 2005 with Sarah Crane, yummy blue icing)
63. Be in New York for fashion week (Accomplished Sept 2005 with Sarah Crane, we saw models in that park that it is held, so cool but of course it was closed to the public, so sad.)
64. Send ten people flowers
65. Ride in a taxi (Accomplished in Sept 2005 with Sarah Crane, driving from her sister's apt to the apt of the girl we had Sarah's birthday party in)
66. Ride in a train (Accomplished April 2009 in Peru)
67. Eat at 5 Guys (Accomplished April 2009, Orem, UT)
68. Go a while month without caffeine
69. Swim in the ocean (Accomplished June 2011, Myrtle Beach Girls Trip)

71. See Les Miserables live (Accomplished May 16th in NYC with Steve. )
72. Throw a black and white party (Accomplished Sept 2013, BUNCO)
73. Have Gina teach me how to make rugs

75. Read something by Laurie Notaro (Accomplished summer 2005, We Thought You Would Be Prettier, pretty funny but not the best thing ever)
76. Eat at Kneaders (Accomplished summer 2006, waiting for a massage is only bearable when eating all you can eat french toast, yummy)
77. Eat at the Melting Pot
78. Watch 15 Alfred Hitchcock films (Birds, Notorious, Rear Window, Psycho, Rope, Vertigo, Rebecca, Spellbound, North by Northwest, To Catch a Thief, the Lady Vanishes, Sabotage, 39 Steps, Dial M for Murder, The Sabotuer)(Accomplished July 2010)
79. Have a 24 hour movie marathon, possibly with a theme

83. Write a random missionary

85. Go to a professional sporting event for baseball, football, basketball and hockey
86. Run a 5k (Accomplished Oct 13, 2012--10K!)
87. Be an EFY counselor or a camp counselor working with youth (Accomplished July 2008, Girl's Camp)
88. Go snorkeling
89. Go to a flea market Accomplished with Clarks on 11/27/11 in Athens, GA)
90. Enter something in a county fair
91. Get higher than 130 in bowling (Accomplished May 28 with Steve in the BYU bowling alley, 132 and 136)
92. Have black fingernails for a day (Accomplished April 10-11)
93. Kiss someone in the rain (Accomplished Aug 2, 2007, behind the stake center, thanks Steve)
