Arizona: AMY

So I never actually finished blogging about our trip. After leaving California we spent a week in Arizona with Steve's family. Steve's mom was kind enough to stock up on groupon deals before our visit. We were treated to lots of frozen yogurt and also this wonderful children's museum. AMY or Arizona Museum for Youth was so fun. They had lots of music and artsy exhibits which is totally my speed.
The first thing you see is this mini piano. Since Henry is a huge fan of Snoopy he ran right up to it.
Next there were a string of ipads with different programs that emulate important artistic movements.
Here is a Jackson Pollack.
Steve and Henry tried to make music by waving their arms. Henry was a little young to get a lot of the exhibits but I thought they were super fun and would have loved to go with Steve just the two of us on a date.
There was also an entire area about cartoons where the kids could be in the cartoons and even make their own stop action cartoon. Very fun.

After the exhibits we headed to the play area and Henry had a lot more fun. Photo bomb.
Does anyone want to buy us one of these super cool bouncy giraffe things?
