Oconee Fall Festival

We had a fun time exploring the Oconee Fall Festival in Watkinsville this past weekend. Henry got to choose to either ride the train or ride a pony. We were lucky he chose train because the pony ride line was really long! Steve got to go with him and Viv and I waited in the shade. We saw lots of farm animals including a 4 day old calf named Pumpkin. Henry got to lasso himself (oops) and that bull head. We walked around craft booths and sampled some fried fare. The fried snickers bar was delicious, the fried pickles were so vinegary and salty we ended up giving them away to friends.

Not pictured: meeting up with some of our favorite friends, a scary taxidermy display, Henry getting sick, me carrying Viv with Henry being pushed in the stroller and Steve carrying the car seat. Henry ended up having a fever and mild stomach bug. It wiped him out. So we headed home early and hung out on the couch for the rest of the weekend.
